Are
you looking for a one year foundation course tailored to school
leavers? Interested in pursuing a career in art or design?
Do you want to study in an up-and-coming part of London buzzing
with young creatives, new galleries and artists’ studios?
Do you want to learn real skills such as drawing, printmaking,
sculpture, painting and photography? |
|
| The New Fine Art Foundation Course from The Prince's Drawing School
provides the opportunity for sustained exploration of a wide
range of Fine Art media in an intimate and supportive environment.
The course emphasises drawing as a means of informing and
expressing ideas, and throughout the year drawing from observation
in the studio, on the streets of the city and from art in
galleries and museums, will remain at the core of the programme. |
|
| Places
are limited to ensure regular one-to-one tuition along with
group crits, access to studio space and individual mentoring.
The programme will be led by Gethin Evans and Sharon Beavan
who are hugely experienced in Foundation level teaching at
leading London art schools. Half of the teaching is by graduates
of The Prince's Drawing School's postgraduate-level Drawing
Year. |
|
| The
course is structured to enable all students to progress to
BA degrees in Fine Art, Illustration and Graphic Design, Photography,
Sculpture, Printmaking, Painting, Fashion, Film, Product Design
and Textiles. Full support will be given to all applications
and portfolio preparation. The course is also suitable for
those seeking to progress directly to apprenticeships and
work; and advice and guidance will be offered accordingly. |
